Overview

Kroger is one of the largest grocery stores in the U.S. It partners with a vendor to provide fast pickup service to customers. I worked on the internal systems to ensure a smooth collaboration between Kroger staff and vendors.

Problem

Kroger staff and vendors wanted to collaborate closely to ensure on-time and accurate delivery, while inefficiency communication between multiple internal systems caused errors.

Constraint

Design should enable collaboration through necessary data sharing while protecting the commercial confidentiality of both parties.

Solution

Confidential data is not directly disclosed to employees; instead, it is shown in aggregated categories to provide sufficient support for decision making.
